Seeds
Seeds and other forms found in nature are a constant theme in my work. Seeds are the most basic, powerful, and all-encompassing element in nature. For me every idea is a seed which is born and brought to fruition by creating it with my hands.

When studying silversmithing and fabrication of tableware in Mexico I discovered how much I love forging and hammering. I started applying these techniques to my jewelry. The pieces are not polished or sand-papered, instead they show traces of their hammered texture. Most of my tableware as well as jewelry is hollow-formed to achieve volume while keeping the pieces light-weight.

The Mesh Collection plays with the contrast between the rough texture of the mesh (silver or copper) and the smooth surface of the silver elements. All the mesh is individually handwoven.

My love for textures and contrast is clearly evident in the Bi-Color collection. Before applying the 24K gold leaf, my pieces usually have a special texture applied to them such as fused silver dust, a hammered surface or oxidation, depending on how strong I want the contract. These textures ensure the gold leaf will make a strong statement.

Geometry is my most popular collection. To play with simple geometric forms is one of my favorite things. The designs are serene yet playful. My goal is to surprise and delight the viewer by using only the simplest shapes that are put together in an interesting way.

Although my men’s collection is constantly evolving it is important to me to have pieces that are clean, simple designs yet sophisticated for the man in your life to wear.
